A good quality set of four dining chairs dating from the late 19th Century. They are made of Walnut in the aesthetic style with a nicely carved back rail and small turned spindles. They stand on turned tapering front legs with sabre rear legs. Each chair has been recently re-covered in a good quality pale blue fabric which compliments the chairs.
The chairs are in good condition for their age. They have been well looked after and maintained over the years and as such have some old repairs but are all strong and sturdy. There are some general signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks but nothing detrimental. The upholstery is clean and tidy and the chairs have been gently polished and are ready for use.
