A superb matching set of 12 Georgian forks consisting of 6 large and 6 small. They are in the popular 'King's Pattern' with beautiful fan and shell decoration. They are well made from heavy gauge silver, weighing approximately 996g in total.
The larger forks measure approximately 8" (20cm) long and the smaller ones measure approximately 6 3/4" (17cm) long.
The forks are each fully hallmarked for London, 1826 and the makers Charles Ely
They are in excellent condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and the prongs are in good order. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
