A good quality set of sugar tongs and 12 matching silver Teaspoons contained in their original fitted case. The set is a lovely simple design and each piece is engraved with an 'M'. The total weight of silver is approximately 153g and every piece is individually hallmarked for Birmingham, 1912 and the maker William Davenport.
Every piece is in very good condition. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few faint surface marks and a few light surface scratches but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
The box is good quality with a silk lining and fitted velvet base. The outer of the case is not without some signs of age and knocks, scuffs and losses around the edges and the fastening clips are missing but overall it displays well.
