A good example of a traditional Scottish solid silver quaich. The shallow bowl stands on a small round foot with two handles. It has engraved initials 'G.M.C' on one side.
It is clearly hallmarked for Brook & Son, Edinburgh, 1923. It weighs approximately 110g.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
