Beautiful miniature Royal Worcester Cup and Saucer set depicting a pair of Pheasants in a woodland landscape, hand painted and signed by James Stinton. The inside of the cup is gilded, as are the rim and handle. Both pieces are marked with the purple Royal Worcester backstamp and date marked for 1926. It has been beautifully hand painted and demonstrates the high quality that Worcester, and in particular James Stinton, are renowned for.

The set is in excellent condition and would be a lovely addition to anybody's collection. There are no major damages and the colours have remained crisp and vibrant. There is some very faint micro-crazing in the glaze on the cup and there are some areas on the gold rim which have rubbed (see photos). Otherwise a lovely set that certainly displays beautifully. Any white spots are from light glare.
