A lovely mahogany tilt-top wine table dating from the early 19th Century. It has a rectangular top with cut corners made from a single piece of what looks like flame mahogany. The wood has a wonderful grain and colour with a vein running through the middle of the timber. It stands on a delicate turned support with tripod splayed legs.
It is in good condition for its age with a lovely aged patina. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks and knocks and an old repair to one of the brackets but no major damages and it displays very well. It is strong and sturdy with a good level top. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
