A lovely example of a small regency rosewood work table dating from the early 19th Century. It stands on shaped end supports, joined by a delicate turned stretcher with roundels at either end and turned bun feet and castors below the legs. It has a single drawer with its original turned knobs and each corner has turned finials below.
The table has a wonderful rich colour and grain and is beautifully finished on all four sides of the table, making it suitable as a centre table or side table.
It is in excellent condition for its age and displays well. The top surface is slightly lighter than the rest of the table but it isn't detrimental. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small marks and knocks and a small chip on one finial but nothing untoward.
