A superb rosewood Canterbury dating from the early 19th century. It has three divisions separated by beautiful carved fretwork panels and turned spindles. It has a single mahogany lined drawer with its original turned knob. It stands on four bulbous turned legs with its original brass castors. It is a good quality piece and the wood has a beautiful colour and grain.
It is in good condition for its age and it strong and sturdy. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small knocks, minor splits and small chips but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully.
