A good quality Regency mahogany table dating from the early 19th century. It stands on turned tapering legs and has two drawers, each with small brass pull handles. It has a raised shaped gallery around the top and a useful lower shelf, making it perfect as a side table, washstand or small writing table.
It is in very good condition with a beautiful rich patina. There are signs of age and use, some small marks on the top surface and a few minor old splits but no major damages or anything detrimental. The drawers are lined with the original penny paper and open well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
