A superb example of a mahogany table cabinet dating from the early 19th century. It is a simple elegant design stood on turned bun feet and it comes with a working key. The doors of the cabinet open to reveal four drawers with small turned handles. The top drawer is sectioned and has a few lidded compartments. The other three drawers are just plain inside.
The whole piece is in excellent condition and although it has been used it has been well looked after over the years. The wood has developed a lovely rich patina and the interior is clean and tidy. There are a few small knocks and marks around the outside, general signs of age and use and a small repair to the corner of one door but nothing detrimental or untoward. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
