A good example of a very smart regency mahogany library table dating from the early 19th Century. It stands on solid end supports, joined by a delicate turned stretcher with pointed roundels at either end and turned bun feet below the legs.
It is a good quality piece and is beautifully finished on all four sides of the table, making it suitable as a centre table or side table.
It is in good condition for its age and has a lovely rich colour. There are signs of age and use and various old marks on the top surface but nothing untoward or detrimental and no major damages. It is a good sturdy table and has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
