A good example of a very elegant regency mahogany table dating from the early 19th Century. It stands on solid end supports with beautiful floral roundels, joined by a delicate turned stretcher.
It is a good quality piece and the quality of the timbers and the workmanship is superb. It is beautifully finished on all four sides of the table, making it suitable as a centre table or side table.
It is in excellent condition for its age and has a lovely rich colour. There are signs of age and use and some minor old marks on the top surface and small knocks around the base but nothing untoward or detrimental and no major damages. It is a good sturdy table and has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
