A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely patina and attractive flame mahogany drawer fronts. It is set on sweeping bracket feet and has brass ring pull handles which, although are not original, do suit the piece well.
It is in good condition for its age. The oak lined drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual small signs of wear, some minor marks on the top and some small repairs to chips in the veneer around the drawers, feet and top corners but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently waxed and is ready for use.
