A good quality mahogany cabinet dating from the early 19th Century. It has a long drawer above two panelled cupboard doors enclosing a shelved interior. The drawer has turned wooden knobs to match the cupboard doors and it has its original working key. The cabinet has lovely reeded moulding and stands on small turned bun feet. The top surface has a cross banded edge and an inset brass strip at the back.
It is in good original condition with a lovely colour and patina. There are signs of age and use, some surface marks and light knocks and scuffs and some old repairs to the cross banding but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
