A lovely mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. It is a small size with an attractive bow front and stands on shaped bracket feet. The drawers have gilt metal pull handles which, although aren't original, suit the piece well.
It is in good condition for its age. The drawers open well, having recently had the runners restored and are generally clean and tidy inside with the original blue penny paper linings. There are the usual signs of wear and use, some minor old marks and knocks and small splits but nothing untoward and it displays well.
