A beautiful gilt framed pier mirror dating from the early 19th Century. The mirror itself is flanked by two corinthian columns and the top has a border of decorative balls. Above the mirror is a solid panel with raised gilt decoration in the form of two crossed flaming torches.
It is in good original condition and the gilding is fresh and bright. It has suffered some minor losses and small damages over the years but nothing detrimental and still displays well. The back board has been replaced at some point in its life. The mirror has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
