A beautiful gilt framed pier mirror dating from the early 19th Century. The mirror has its original reeded ebonised slip and is flanked by two corinthian columns. Above the mirror is a pretty painted glass panel below a top border of decorative balls. It is a good quality mirror with a bevelled plate and lots of lovely details.
It is in good original condition and the gilding is fresh and bright. It has suffered some minor losses and small damages over the years but still displays well. There have been a few repairs here and there and a few minor chips and flakes but overall it has a good look. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
