A good quality and very decorative oil painting of a horse in a stable dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. The painting is on canvas and is likely from the circle of Francis Mabel Hollams (1877-1963).
There is a paper label on the reverse which reads " 'Portrait of a Hunter' Lady Southampton. 19 Arlington St, Piccadilly, London"
It has been reframed in a good quality gilt frame with green mount.
The painting is in excellent original condition. There are some minor signs of age, some light marks but no damages or repairs and it displays well. The painting has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
