An unusual pair of late 19th Century Staffordshire spill vases in the form of castles, each with a man rowing a boat below them. They are good quality and have been well modelled with textured features.
They are in good condition for their age however they have suffered some chips and minor damages over the years. There are some chips around the turrets on both pieces and various minor flaws, small nibbles and some slight fading to the paint in places but overall they display well.
