A good quality pair of silver napkin rings in their original fitted case. They have gadrooned edges and are engraved 'L' and 'C'.
They are both individually hallmarked for London, 1897 and the maker William Hutton & Sons Ltd. The total weight of silver is 63g
They are both in very good condition. There are some minor signs of age and use and a few faint surface marks but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
The box is good quality with a silk lining and fitted velvet base. The retailer’s name “Butt Goldsmith, Chester" is printed in gold under the lid. The interior is clean and tidy. There are some small scuffs and minor losses around the outside but nothing major and it displays well.
