A superb pair of large turned oak pricket candlesticks dating from the mid to late 19th Century. They have a bulbous design with a round stepped foot and a spike on the top for securing a candle. They have most likely come from a church. They are excellent quality and are very heavy.
They are in good condition for their age and display well. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks, light knocks and small chips and splits but nothing detrimental and they are very solid. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
Base Diameter : 8" / 20cm
