A good example of a pair of large solid Sterling silver spoons. They are a very large tablespoon size or small serving spoon. They are a simple design with engraved initials 'H' on the tip of the handles. They are excellent quality and weigh approximately 115g.
They measure approximately 9" (23cm) long and the spoons themselves are 2" (5cm) wide by 3" (8cm) long.
They are fully hallmarked for Exeter, 1828 and the maker William Woodman.
They are in excellent condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks and dinks but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
