A superb pair of gilt girandole wall mirrors, dating from the mid 19th Century. Each has a gilded frame with a traditional scrolling crest and a pair of candle holders on elegant stems.
They are both in good condition and display beautifully. There are various small losses and minor damages but nothing detrimental. The frames are of course delicate but generally sturdy. There has been some professional restoration whereby some new clay has been applied to the reverse of the crest to repair and strengthen some cracks. The glass has slightly worn and spotted in places. They have been lightly cleaned and are ready to hang.
