A fine example of a large pair of Sterling Silver candlesticks. They are stylish and good quality with a classical square tapering design on a square base with beaded detail and traditional swag designs around the whole of the candlestick. The bases are weighted and they have both of its original removable sconces.
They are both clearly hallmarked on the base and the tops for Sibray Hall & Co, Sheffield, 1901.
They are in excellent condition for their age. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and small knocks on the tops and some minor dings commensurate with age but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
