A charming pair of 19th Century Staffordshire style poodles. They are typically modelled holding a basket of flowers in their mouths and standing on maroon rectangular footed bases with gilt borders. They are good quality examples and have the gold Chelsea anchor mark on the bases.
They are in very good condition for their age. There are no major damages and the colours have remained bright and vibrant. There is a small knock by one foot where a piece of maroon is missing but it is hard to tell if this is a chip or just a firing flaw. Overall they display very well.
