Product Details

A matching pair of tabletop chests of drawers dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. The chests are made of pine with oak drawer fronts and turned oak knobs. Each chest has 5 drawers and they stand on plinth bases. They could have once been used as specimen / collectors chests but would also make lovely jewellery boxes or stationery cabinets. They can be used side by side or can also be stacked on top of one another.

They are in good condition for their age and have been very well made and well looked after. The drawers are generally clean and tidy (one set has been painted white inside). There are some minor signs of age and use, some marks and small chips but nothing detrimental and overall they display beautifully. They have been cleaned and gently polished and are ready for use.
