A good example of a pair of decorative gilt and enamel candlestick holders dating from the late 19th century. They are modelled with classical gilt putti figures supporting the sconces. The bases and sconces are decorated with lovely blue champleve enamel.
They are excellent quality and a nice weight. They are in good condition for their age and there are no major damages or losses. There are some faint surface marks and small knocks and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
