A fine matching pair of 18th Century Sterling Silver butter dishes. They are stylish pieces, shaped as scalloped shells set on three small shell shaped feet. Both also carry a coat of arms stamp on the handle. They are good quality and weigh approximately 190g in total.

The dishes are both hallmarked for Henry Green, London, 1794. The marks are slightly worn and rubbed but still readable.

Height : 1 1/4" (3cm)

They are in good condition for their age. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and some small dinks and marks around the coat of arms but nothing untoward or detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished.
