A good example of an original WW1 Princess Mary Christmas tin sent to soldiers on the front line in 1914. It is brass with a hinged lid and and decorated on the top with a portrait of Princess Mary.
It is in good condition for its age. There are signs of age and use, some minor dinks and dents, some areas of tarnishing and a very small split on the back corner but no major damages and overall it displays well.
