A fabulous countertop shop display piece dating from the early to mid 20th Century advertising "West India Bananas". It is made of Papier Mache and is in the form of a large hand of bananas on a black pedestal base with gilt lettering for West India Bananas. They are incredibly realistic, very decorative and would make a great talking point.
It has its original makers label on the underneath for "Pytram Ltd, New Malden England"
They are in good original condition. There are signs of age with some fading, slight wear and minor surface marks but no major damages and overall it displays very well.
