A lovely original Watercolour painting of a moorland scene dating from the late 19th century. It is a good quality painting featuring sheep next to a small river. It is signed by the artist in the lower left corner. It is set against a white mount in an oak frame with gilt slip and further gilt carved border.
The painting is in good order with no major damages or blemishes. There are a few minor surface marks but the colours are bright and vibrant. There are a few small knocks and losses around the outer gilt frame and some signs of historic worm but nothing detrimental and it displays well.
