An original railway platform sign dating from the early to mid 20th Century. It is completely authentic and has a great look to it. It is eye-catching in Southern Rail green with white writing.
It measures approximately 2ft (61cm) long by 18" (46cm) high, making it a great size for display. The sign is mounted to a wooden frame which sits in the back of the sign. We have fitted two hooks at the top of the sign for hanging.
It is in good original condition with just some minor wear and rust and small losses to the edges of the sign. Nothing untoward for a sign of this age and nothing that we feel is detrimental. It displays beautifully. It has been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for use.
