A good quality and very decorative oil on canvas painting of a lady in its original gilt gesso Florentine frame. It is indistinctly signed in the bottom right corner. The rear of the frame / portrait bears a label for "W.C.Coles Carver & Gilder".
The painting is in good condition with no obvious damages. There are signs of age, some surface marks and it is possible it may have been restored at some point. There are signs of age and use around the frame, some chips and small losses but nothing detrimental. The painting has been lightly cleaned and is ready to hang.
