A lovely antique tailor's mirror dating from the early 20th Century. It has a thick rounded wooden frame which is painted black. It has a nice patina and the layers of paint have started to crackle slightly. It has its original mirror plate which has some minor age marks and spotting but nothing detrimental. It is a good quality piece with a solid wooden back and recessed screws.
It was likely used in a department store or tailors and is typical of that design and style. The narrow proportions make it very useful.
