Product Details

A lovely miniature apprentice-made mahogany chest of drawers, dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It is a charming piece with three long drawers, each with their original turned and inlaid wooden knobs. The drawers are flanked by reeded columns and have small inset brass escutcheons. The top of the chest lifts up to reveal additional storage in the top and this top section is lockable and comes with a working key. It is very well made and each drawer is beautifully made with hand-cut dovetail joints.

It is in good original condition and has a nice patina. There are some general signs of age and use, some minor marks, knocks and a few small chips but nothing detrimental and overall it displays very well.
