Product Details

Good example of an original antique military issue Monocular in its original leather case. It has an extendable eyepiece tube for focusing and is marked with the military crows foot. The body is covered in black leather and the metal parts are finished in a black paint.

The monocular is in good condition for its age. It produces a clear image that is easy to focus and the lenses are generally clean. There are two small scratches on the end lens and some general signs of age and use and minor knocks, surface marks and small areas of paint loss around the body but nothing untoward. It has been lightly cleaned and displays very nicely.
It comes in its original protective leather case complete with shoulder strap and buckle. The end is stamped "Case No.1 or 1A Prismatic Monocular (MkI). Timbers. 1925." and is also marked with the military crows foot. It is in good condition with some signs of age and use but no major damages.
