Product Details

A nice example of an early 20th Century mahogany filing cabinet with 9 internal shelves and an attractive tambour front. It stands on small bracket feet and has a removable upstand along the back edge. It has a brass handle on the front and comes with its original key. It is a good quality piece with panelled sides and a lovely patina.

It is in good condition and is certainly a usable piece. The tambour front slides smoothly and the key works, automatically locking the front when it is closed. The shelves are likely later replacements but they have been made well and are clean and tidy. It is not without signs of age and use, some small marks and knocks and some old chips around the bottom of the feet but nothing detrimental and it displays well.
