An excellent example of a part built model of a large live steam driven locomotive. I am unsure of the exact gauge but there is 3" between the outer edge of the wheels and 2 1/4" between the inner edge of the wheels.
The models has a full set of large wheels, painted in a green livery. It has pistons joining the wheels and everything turns as it should when moved. There are buffers at the front of the train and the bed on which a tender would sit at the rear. The whole piece is excellent quality and the model has been mounted onto a good quality wooden base.
There is a steam inlet valve in the middle near the front of the model and it has been tested with a small air compressor and everything runs well. A video can be provided if requested.
Generally it is in good condition for its age and it looks like it has been very well cared for. It has been lightly cleaned and displays very well. There are no major damages that I can see and very few signs of age or use or anything detrimental.
