A large original 19th Century toleware Tea Canister. It is in its original green paint decorated with gilt greek key bands. It has a gilt Chinese lettering label and a number 7 label. It comes with its original lid.
It is in good condition for its age and displays very well. There are various dents and dinks and the paint is flaking and fading in places but nothing detrimental or above what we would expect on something like this. There is some minor corrosion around the base but no holes.
