A large pine storage cupboard dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century with panelled doors and a plinth base. The doors have an unusual double hinge design which means they can be folded back flat against the sides of the cupboard. It has a simple shelved interior although the shelves are removable and there are small air holes drilled in the top of the sides meaning it was probably originally used as a larder cupboard. Its narrow proportions make it very useful for a variety of purposes now.
It is in good condition and has an attractive mellow colour. It has been cleaned and lightly polished with a smooth waxed finish, retaining its lovely aged patina. The shelves inside are generally clean and tidy with a few old marks and stains. There are some signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks and minor signs of historic worm but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
