A good example of a huge solid Sterling silver serving spoon. It has a simple Old English Pattern handle with no engravings and is excellent quality, weighing approximately 169g.
It measures approximately 12" (30cm) long and the spoon itself is 2 1/4" (6cm) wide x 4" (10cm) long.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1908 and the maker Brewis & Co.
It is in excellent condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface scratches and a few light marks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
