A good example of a solid Sterling Silver sugar caster. It is stylish and good quality piece, weighing approximately 149g. It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1911. The maker's mark is partly worn but it looks likely to be Henry Matthews.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and a few light surface scratches and some small dents around the edges and corners (see photos) but overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
