A good example of a large Sterling Silver candlestick. It is stylish and good quality with a tall tapering column on a stepped weighted base. It is hallmarked on the edge of the base for Sheffield 1917. The makers mark is a little rubbed but distinguishable as James Dixon & Sons Ltd. It is also marked with the registration mark 'Rd No 450348'.
It is in good condition for its age but has suffered a few damages and knocks over the years. There are some general faint surface marks and small knocks here and there. There are some small dents and dinks around the base and column and some dented edges around the base but it still displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
