A good example of a large antique pine dresser. The base has three drawers, each with turned wooden knobs, between two large cupboards. The cupboard doors have small brass knobs. The large plate rack has two shelves and nice wide back boards.
At some point the depth of the dresser has been reduced and this has created a useful narrow base.
It is in very good condition throughout and is a good sturdy piece of furniture. It has been thoroughly cleaned and has a nice smooth waxed finish while leaving the aged patina. The drawers open and run well and it is clean and tidy inside. It is not without signs of age and use, some minor marks and knocks and some scuffs and marks around the feet of the plate rack. It displays beautifully and is ready for use.
