A large pine storage cupboard dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It has two panelled doors which open to a simple shelved interior. The shelf position can be adjusted and they can be removed entirely. The interior, including the shelves, has been painted a creamy yellow colour at some point in its life. It is a good quality piece and its narrow proportions make it very useful for a variety of purposes.
It is in good condition and has an attractive mellow colour. It has been cleaned and lightly polished with a smooth waxed finish, retaining its lovely aged patina. The shelves inside are generally clean and tidy with a few old marks and stains. There are some signs of age and use, some light marks, knocks, small chips and old shrinkage splits but nothing untoward and it displays well.
