A good antique blanket box dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. The pine has mellowed to a lovely warm colour and the box has metal carrying handles.
A good size for a coffee table, end of the bed storage or toy trunk.
It is in good condition for its age. It is strong and sturdy and generally clean and tidy inside. There are some signs of use and age, some general knocks and marks and some light surface scratches on the top but nothing detrimental. There has been a small repair on one bottom corner but no other major damages and overall it displays well. The box has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
