Very nice example of an early 20th Century barometer. It is cased in a brass bulkhead style mount with glass covering the face. The white enamel face has the barometer dial from 25" to 31" and a black arrow pointer which reads the pressure and a brass arrow which can be adjusted from the screw in the middle to mark the current pressure and read the change. There is a brass ring in the top of the case for hanging the barometer
It is in good condition for its age. The glass is clean and has no major surface scratches. The face is clean and bright with no damages. The brass case has been lightly polished to retain its natural aged patina and displays very nicely. It seems to be in working order. I've done 'the bag test' and the pointer certainly moves as it should do but i cannot guarantee its accuracy as I haven't referenced the readings.
