A beautiful antique french mirror dating from the mid 19th century. It has a gilded frame with much of its original water gilding still present and beautiful floral carved details in the corners and around the frame. It has its original mirror plate which is slightly foxed and worn in places, giving a nice textured surface.
It is in good original condition for its age with a sturdy boarded back. There are some minor knocks and chips and small losses around the frame but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully.
