A good large sized French Vendange table, dating from the mid 19th Century. The circular top is made of thick Cherrywood planks with a wonderful rich patina. The table is set on two square oak legs on large stepped feet, joined by a central stretcher. Made for wine tasting, the top is designed to fold up flat when not in use and is supported by the central folding support.
It is in good condition and is a very sturdy table. It is a good height for a dining table with plenty of leg clearance all the way around. There are many signs of age and use, some historic worm holes and various old repairs but nothing to concern us and it displays beautifully.
