A large antique confit pot dating from the late 19th / early 20th century originating from France. Traditionally hand thrown in a rustic form with a yellow ochre glaze and two small handles.
Its in good condition for its age. There are natural imperfections in the glaze, some runs and small scuffs and chips on the rim but nothing detrimental and it displays well. There is a hole through the bottom of the pot so it is obviously not water-tight.
